We provide FREE Well-Being sessions to all Frontline Workers but Workplace Well-Being is important regardless of the industry in which you work. So from the beginning of 2022 we have  been providing FREE Workplace Well-Being sessions for Everyone!

Team member Well-Being is proven to contribute to engagement, productivity, time keeping and attendance. We offer a variety of Workplace sessions to engage your employees and improve their  Well-Being

Well-Being at work

Wonderful Life Academy offers a variety of workplace Well-Being sessions.

We can replicate our local well being group sessions allowing your Team Members to attend our weekly 1 hour sessions as frequently as they like.

We also offer bespoke sessions to suit your organisations values or mission statement. These sessions can be as frequent as you like  and offered to any group size.

Positive Well-being is good for employees and employers alike. Research suggests it can have an impact on motivation, productivity, absenteeism and staff turnover.
Indeed, figures from the Centre for Mental Health suggest that UK companies lose £34.9 billion in productivity as a result of mental health issues alone.

The key challenge in trying to create a workplace culture that supports employee wellbeing is that there are a number of different factors at play, from mental health and stress, to physical factors such as sleep, fitness and illness as well as financial well-being and general job satisfaction. Our Wonderful Life Employee workshops support the 5 key areas of Well-Being; Physical Well-Being, Mental Well-Being , Emotional Well-Being , Spiritual Well-Being and social Well-Being.

NHS England agrees with us and recommends 5 Key steps to improved Well-Being.
 
1. Connect with other people
 
Good relationships are important for your mental wellbeing. They can:
 
·        help you to build a sense of belonging and self-worth
 
·        give you an opportunity to share positive experiences
 
·        provide emotional support and allow you to support others
 
Our Workshops are a social experience and we encourage everyone we meet to connect with others.
 
2. Be physically active
 
Being active is not only great for your physical health and fitness. Evidence also shows it can also improve your mental wellbeing by:
 
·        raising your self-esteem
 
·        helping you to set goals or challenges and achieve them
 
·        causing chemical changes in your brain which can help to positively change your mood.
 
Wonderful Life Workshops encourage a range of physical activity to suit everyone.
 
 
3. Learn new skills
 
Research shows that learning new skills can also improve your mental wellbeing by:
 
·        boosting self-confidence and raising self-esteem
 
·        helping you to build a sense of purpose
 
·        helping you to connect with others
 
Even if you feel like you do not have enough time, or you may not need to learn new things, there are lots of different ways to bring learning into your life.
 
As part of our ‘5-A-Day’ programme we encourage everyone to learn something new every day!
 
4. Give to others
 
Research suggests that acts of giving and kindness can help improve your mental wellbeing -by:
 
·        creating positive feelings and a sense of reward
 
·        giving you a feeling of purpose and self-worth
 
·        helping you connect with other people
 
It could be small acts of kindness towards other people, or larger ones like volunteering in your local community.
 
Wonderful Life Workshops provide opportunities for employees to give and receive positive feedback to help improve self worth.
 
5. Pay attention to the present moment (mindfulness)
 
Paying more attention to the present moment can improve your mental wellbeing. This includes your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you.
 
Some people call this awareness “mindfulness”. Mindfulness can help you enjoy life more and understand yourself better. It can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges.
 
At the end of every workshop and on-line we provide employees with our Takeaways for them to practice at home. Many of our Takeaways are based in mindfulness and presented in our own unique way.
